If you’ve been missing classic movies on TV, you can now watch them in your own home with the new “Watch TCM” app from Turner 7starhd Classic Movies. Available for both iOS and tvOS devices, the app lets you stream classic movies to your TV on demand and live. However, you’ll need to subscribe to the channel before you can download the app. Once you have a subscription, you can log in using your log-in information. The app includes a soap2daynews live feed of the channel, which is a convenient feature.
TCM Underground is another excellent feature of Watch TCM. This new show focuses on cult films. The program originally featured bestnewsfit rocker/filmmaker Rob Zombie as its host. The show is currently airing early Saturday mornings at 2:00 a.m. Eastern Time, so it’s best to tune in early in the morning to catch this feature.
If you don’t have a cable subscription, you can still watch movies through your web browser. Hulu Live TV has a great lineup of classic mezoka movies and shows, as well as Disney+ and ESPN+. It also offers local channels and a full suite of other channels like Cartoon Network, FX, HGTV, National Geographic, and Syfy.
The TCM app features detailed theeventsmagazine information on each movie, including background information, original trailers, and image galleries of rare behind-the-scenes shots. It also has a retro TCM-themed clock and live streams of on-air content.
